When Chris is not leading groups out he is heavily involved in working with primary school children in Wiltshire as a National Cycling Instructor. He is Bikeability's Area Leader for South West Wiltshire. As a father he knows how important it is for children to ride safely thereby gaining a lot of enjoyment from cycling.
He is also a qualified SMBLA trail leader and is also involved with British Cycling in association with Sky as a Ride Leader and Route Planner in the national body's objective to increase participation in cycling.
Aside from work he throughly enjoys exploring the lanes and trails in the rural area in where he lives with his family.
He also likes to grow his own vegetables and play cricket for his local village team.
He has toured most parts of Europe but enjoys exploring France. He would eventually like to set up a cycle tour to explore the 'hidden' France.
